Make sure to check temperature inside the fridge. I guaranty you that it will be 10F higher than what you set. I know because im stuck with one. LG already replaced 1. New one has the same issue. You need to set to 33F and then use a hidden menu to fudge the temp another 3.6F so that your fridge finally reaches 40F. FDA recommends 40F or lower for a fridge.

Stay away from LG fridges. Their compressors are garbage, and while they warranty the part, the labor isn't covered after a year or so. I learned this the hard way. Purchased a $3000 fridge. 3 years later, it needed a compressor. Labor and service charge was going to be about $700. No thanks. Sent it to the dump and bought a Whirlpool. Buy a Whirlpool or GE. You'll be happier in three years.
