I was able to get this to work once, but I tried it for a second one because I wanted to buy one of each color but it would not work. It said it was invalid like minutes after so I'm wondering if it's only allowed to be used once and is there a way I can get it to be used twice someone else order under their account with that be the difference maker

Yes, codes can usually only be used once per account. I don't think Amazon likes it if you open multiple accounts, so it's probably better to ask a friend.
