I would agree, but I never finished the book. I finished the movie, multiple times, but I didn't make it far into the book before giving up. Not sure what it was about it, but the book just completely lost me. That being said, there are some major differences between the movie and the book that change quite a bit. Same way with a lot of adaptations, though.
