Not a good price/deal and it's been this price for almost a month now. A much better configuration was available for $50 less just a week ago: https://slickdeals.net/f/20134854-hp-hyperx-omen-15-gaming-laptop-pc-2k-ips-165hz-intel-core-ultra-7-255h-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5060-16gb-1tb-ssd-1149?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arecent%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse
I'm sure it will make rounds again, esp with BF and CM right around the corner.

I dunno about "Much better." That's the same exact configuration except that one had an Intel processor, vs AMD.

Funny, you thought it was a good enough price to post it for this price on September 28th: https://slickdeals.net/f/20056176

Funny is the fact that the link I have posted above was posted AFTER I posted this configuration. At that time, this was the best configuration available, and the other one wasn't even posted until after 2 weeks.
Just to make it easier for you to read because you evidently failed to, my post was made on Sept 24th (not 28th) and the one I have linked posted by someone else was posted on October 9th. I don't think I need to explain how chronology works and why this is not a good deal anymore.

Moreover, go read about the R7-8745HX and i7-255H first, the latter outperforms this processor in both, single core and multi core, by a significant margin not just in processing power but also in efficiency; So yes, the other configuration is indeed much better which is currently available for just $50 more (although not as slick as posted a week ago) making this deal even more unattractive and a waste of money.

Hold on, let me see if I'm following correctly. You posted this exact deal as a good deal, and you say it's because at the time it was the best available.

Then another deal came along that was a different configuration that you say is actually better. Ok. That deal expires and is no longer available.

Now you say that this deal, the same you said was the best available at the time, and the other deal is gone; it's no longer a good deal?

Seems like you're just salty, tbh.

Salty for what exactly? Stick to facts, no need for the usual snark remarks. The 255H had never gone on sale, or below the $1250 mark before, hence why the R7 at that time was looking like a good deal, but even then, it hardly got any traction from the members because $1200 was and still is a high price for this config as per the comments from the members who ultimately decide if it's a good deal or not.
Considering the 255H was just cheaper just a few days ago, makes it certain that price is going to come back and it's better to wait or spend $50 more to get that, which outperforms this in every other way. It's useless arguing over this, because even at $1249 currently, the 255H is a better buy than this according to stats, whether you agree or not doesn't matter, the facts suggest otherwise.
