Looks like a decent, but not killer price for these specs in this day and age, better than most. I'm 50/50, I was hoping to get a 2TB drive but they're hard to come by at this price.

Not even a TI.
What size clown shoe do you wear?

All you do in every thread is make uninformed comments.

The 5070 retails for between $830 and $900 right now.

The 5070 Ti is between $1200 and $1350.

You're really expecting them to sell you the rest of the computer for $500, when 32GB of RAM is still going for around that much?

These prices aren't getting any better until the next generation comes out, which is probably a year away. And RAM isn't coming down for much longer.

So unless you have a time machine, quit your complaining. It adds nothing.

I don't know who in their right mind would buy an Alienware. They get terribly hot but worst of all, they have a proprietary case, motherboard, PSU, and cooler, locking you in their ecosystem and making upgrades or repair costly and difficult. All you can do easily is upgrade the RAM, SSD, or GPU.

3800 MSRP is a joke but decent deal. Should be looking for a 5070ti config over a 5070 if can afford the few hundred extra clams

You mean only a 5080 card itself, right?

I mean, this is an OK deal.... I think their point is that, alienware will probably sell this PC regularly at like 2-2.3k. Going down to 1800 is nice... Not crazy.

But 5070 12gb cards, with 32gb ram has been lower at costco, or even prime day deals. A great deal for these specs I'd say is like 1400-1700. Also I believe now alienware is a HUGE downside, often times some of these pc's use odd OEM parts, or make it intentionally hard to upgrade or change components out.

I've seen 5070 12gb's with 32gb ram and 1tb ssd's at like 1400-1500 but they just sell out crazy fast. Which makes sense.
