These HDX stackable totes are compact, clear storage bins that work well for shelf organization and small-item sorting. The dimensions are 12.9 by 8.1 by 6.2 inches, and the clear version with the yellow lid is noted as usable too. The price has been seen as the normal buy more and save offer, but shipping can jump from free to 35 dollars at checkout, and the lids may not snap securely enough for transport. They seem best for stationary storage rather than carrying around.
Common Questions (5)
The tote measures 12.9 inches wide, 8.1 inches deep, and 6.2 inches high. Those dimensions make it useful for small-item storage, but it likely will not fit inside a 27-qt Costco tote with the lid on.
Yes, the clear tote with the yellow lid works as well as the black/yellow version. The main difference is appearance, with the clear/gray-clear options looking less opaque than the yellow- or black-lid versions.
The buy-more-save pricing appears to be the normal pricing pattern for this item rather than a special one-time sale. One comment also notes the price had previously been $2.50 each, so the current 4-for-$10 offer may not be a strong value.
Shipping may show as free before checkout, but it can change to a $35 charge at checkout. In some cases, free shipping remains available unless you choose faster delivery, which can cost $2.99.
The lid can be snug, but it reportedly does not snap on reliably and may pop up unless held down. It is fine for shelf storage, but for moving it around you may need a rubber band or a different container.
