I have one of these. I really like it. It would be nice if you could change the led time to red, and for some reason when you set the ring color to red it insists on pulsing. But other than those issues it's great. Especially for $13.

I bought one of these after I had bought the egg shape one. At first I did not like it as much because the egg shape one has a tiny bump on the on off button that you can find without light. This one has the bump on the front buttons that you never push.

However with enough use and muscle memory I reliably press the white noise button now without light.

I also like that you can dim the light to almost off which is great for a very dark room.

Edit:
I bought mine April 14th
Looks like they updated the design as the pictures look different now.

Bought one a bunch of months back and I like it. I don't use the noise settings on it but it works great as an alarm clock

I bought one of the Dreamegg Portables from the same seller the beginning of September. I'm still waiting for it, projected delivery by November 9th. Just FYI.

An issue I've seen with this is the time actually runs fast; after a 2-3 months it will be 1 minute ahead, and keep accruing ahead. Kind of a PITA

This seems like a feature, every year you'll be 4-6 minutes earlier!

Just a heads up that I can clearly see the time well only when the clock is directly facing me (it's basically a small circle), so it might not be ideal if you want to view it from various angles. Also it only works on ac.

tl;dr It's very good as a noise machine, not very good as an alarm clock.

The noise generator on this is good. It gets LOUD and has enough bass that you don't feel like you should have just used a free phone app.

However, the alarm/clock has several flaws. There is no light sensor, so you can either set the clock bright enough to see in daytime but blinding at night, or reasonable at night but invisible during the day. The user interface is annoying and obscure despite having lots of buttons: you have to tap the button to turn the noise on, but you have to hold the button to turn it off since there is no dedicated "switch noises" button. The clock runs fast and you'll have to set it back every few months. Needs to stay plugged into USB 24/7. (It keeps time for several hours if you lose power...you can't see it, but when power comes back on the time will be correct.)

I just needed a clock for a bedroom and bought this. I never use the sounds but I do keep it on the white ring for a nightlight.

Can confirm the fast time problem. Made the effort to set them perfectly and they do get ahead. Good noise machines though, I had a Dohm style with an actual fan die a while back and I was hesitant about digital ones where you can sometimes hear the patterns in the noise but no issue here.

Got one. Really needed a super loud alarm for my wife, but let's see if this is sufficient. Thanks.

as someone who uses electronic white noise and a cooling blanket.... sure why not I'll reply.

the noise to break the silence - to silence the brain
the blanket for the pressure, but not the heat
