Not a great deal. Previous open box deals the yoga slim had the X-elite processor and 3K OLED. This entry level 2026 CPU is half the cores (about 30% less performance) and also much lower resolution display. The August deal was also slightly cheaper.
Not too impressed with Best Buy's testing of open box items. I got one of those HP Omen open box laptops and it worked great, until I figured out the network port doesnt work. I was past the Best Buy return policy and when I went through HP, the laptop was already registered to someone else which took a while to get fixed. Even though I kept telling the woman that the registered user isnt me and needs to be changed, she kept emailing things to the original registered customer and waiting for me to tell her the authorization code. I finally gave up and got a USB network adapter.

It's very hit and miss. I've gotten like-new and then ant-infested food-filled scratched-up "Excellent" models.
The really fun ones are where they replace the SSD or RAM with something else or RIP out the WiFi card.

I'd pass on this if you can wait.
