Dave's Hot Chicken is offering a free slider with any purchase, and the app rewards screen appears to show the promo with a code to scan in store. The best value seems to come from ordering at the counter or kiosk, where the barcode can trigger the discount and the slider can be added to the cart. Some locations may be crowded or slow, and the offer may not work everywhere, including Wisconsin. A few checkout attempts also failed to show the discount until the in store flow was used, so the redemption steps matter.
Common Questions (4)
Yes, this version of the promo requires paying for at least one item, unlike a prior free-slider day with no purchase necessary. A very low-cost add-on can work, such as a 50-cent sauce packet in one location or a $1.49 sauce pack in Brooklyn.
The offer appears under Rewards in the Dave's app and can require scanning a code in the restaurant or at the kiosk. The slider must be added to the cart, and the discount applies after scanning the barcode; otherwise the order can error out.
The discount is supposed to apply at checkout, but one checkout attempt went all the way to payment without the price dropping. That means it may be safer to verify the promo is applied before submitting payment.
No, the offer is reported as not valid at Dave's Hot Chicken locations in Wisconsin. Check the app or local terms before ordering if you are in that state.
