Not an authorized Milwaukee dealer, pulling typical Amazon practices trying to undercut and starve out actual authorized Milwaukee stores.
So how does Amazon/woot get these products?Blame Milwaukee they are the ones allowing this.

Someone said Woot is not an authorized Milwaukee dealer. This means no warranty honored. My new milwaukee drill went dead in a few months and was replaced by Milwaukee under warranty. No warranty = you pay for repair.

Home Depot looking the other way on "hack" deals on Milwaukee products is a much bigger issue than Amazon/Woot selling their products for independent stores selling Milwaukee I would imagine. And all the "price in cart" deals on web dealers.

Milwaukee warranty is always honored by serial number, without POP. Your warranty starts from manufactured date instead of purchase date. you could get a shorter effective warranty, but it's always honored by Milwaukee via serial number.

I didn't go through with it, but honey offered me $19.19 in points on the two pack of 5.0 batteries. Along with the 10% off SPOOKY10 promo, it would have been under $100 before tax if you take the paypal points into account

I swear some of the cordless milwaukee tools that woot sells are 20+ years old, I bought several of these in 2008 when I started carpentry.... surprised they're still making them somewhere.

A shorter effective warranty or none at all if you received a fake knock-off.

These don't seem like deals, though. Making the price higher and then offering 10% off isn't a deal. I need all of the tools for new home renovations and have been keeping a close eye on them. The prices and standard and will likely be beat when BF deals hit.

Why do the product photos for the Milwaukee sales on Woot always look like they were taken with a flip phone?

You said Milwaukee replaced your drill under warranty. Did they ask for a receipt, or did the serial number cover it?

This is the real takeaway, so many comments yammering about authorized sellers, but truth be told it doesn't matter much because the prices aren't great anyway.

You have to be Really careful when buying Milwaukee products on Amazon. I got stiffed with a Knock Off battery that required the Milwaukee Repair staff to disassemble to verify it was fake. The guy told me it was a really good "looking" knockoff. The fonts were only slightly off and one of the sticker colors was more yellow than red. And Amazon would not fix the issue. I am buying much less on Amazon since then. And now only buy Milwaukee from Homedepot on a sale... Live and Learn.

Yes i had to upload the receipt in addition to the serial number. I mailed the drill and they mailed one back to me.
