I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.
Community Reviews
This bundle ties Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus together, with account linking unlocking the other membership and often triggering a prorated Walmart+ refund. The strongest upside is convenience and value for existing members, since Sam's Plus can include Walmart+ at no extra cost, or Walmart+ can add Sam's for about $22 when the pricing lines up. The main catch is that the charge is highly dependent on current renewal timing and existing discounts, so the displayed price can jump to much more than expected. Linking can also be finicky, and Amex monthly credits may not carry over cleanly.
Common Questions (5)
No. The $22 figure is only the additional cost in some cases, usually when the current membership timing and pricing line up. Several users were quoted much higher amounts like $48, $51.55, $58, $78, $95, $109, or the full $120, depending on existing discounts, renewal timing, and whether the account was already on a promo rate.
Linking the accounts can trigger a prorated refund of the unused Walmart+ time, and the amount depends on how much of the term is left. Examples in the thread range from a few dollars to about $95, with some users seeing the renewal date move to the Sam's membership term.
Matching account details is often the fix: several users had to make the email addresses and sometimes the phone numbers match, or log into the primary account instead of a secondary one. If the Sam's account is under a different name or business account, the Walmart+ share-benefits/invite path may be needed.
Yes. The link flow appears in both apps: some users get a pop-up in the Walmart app after opening the deal link, while others see a prompt in the Sam's Club app to connect the Walmart account. Once linked, Walmart+ shows as included with Sam's Club Plus.
The bundled membership can conflict with Amex Walmart+ statement credits, especially when the credit is tied to monthly billing. Linking may stop the Amex credit from applying, and users on monthly Amex-backed Walmart+ reported the bundle did not work as expected.

How paying $22 extra on top of useless Walmart+ is such a great deal? What is the hype.
I agree Amazon needs competition, but W+ is not it. Not to mention their horrendous CS
So is my total cost supposed to be $71 for next year?
