I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.
Community Reviews
This bundle turns Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus into one linked membership, with Walmart+ included at no extra cost for existing Sam's Plus members and an add on path for Walmart+ members that is often described as prorated. The strongest upside is the convenience of linking accounts and, in many cases, getting an immediate refund on the unused Walmart+ portion. The main catch is that the charge math varies by renewal timing and account setup, so some see only a small refund or a much higher upgrade price. It is a cleaner setup for people who already use both clubs.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. Linking the accounts can trigger a prorated Walmart+ refund, and if you already have Sam's Club Plus, Walmart+ can be activated at no extra cost. The link flow is usually started from the Walmart or Sam's app and may require matching account details.
The add-on is advertised as "as little as $22," but the actual charge is prorated based on how much time is left on your current membership. Some accounts show much higher amounts, such as $48, $51.55, or even the full $120 when the timing or eligibility doesn't line up.
No, it cannot be stacked with the Walmart 50+ senior discount. Existing Walmart+ renewal promos can also be lost or replaced when you link the memberships, so the final price depends on which offer is active at the time.
It can. Linking may stop American Express Walmart+ statement credits from applying, and the combined plan continues to bill annually in full through Sam's Club Plus.
Make sure the primary account is the one you're logged into, and match the email and phone number on both accounts. If Sam's Plus is expired, linking can fail until the membership is active again.

How paying $22 extra on top of useless Walmart+ is such a great deal? What is the hype.
I agree Amazon needs competition, but W+ is not it. Not to mention their horrendous CS
So is my total cost supposed to be $71 for next year?
