This bundle links Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus into one annual membership, and the main appeal is getting both perks together with prorated refunds when accounts are linked. The linking flow is usually simple through the Sam's or Walmart app, and several accounts show instant refunds ranging from a few dollars to much larger amounts. The catch is that the price math is inconsistent, with some upgrades showing the expected small add on and others jumping to much higher charges or full annual pricing. It also appears to replace separate renewal discounts and can affect Amex credits, so the final cost depends heavily on existing membership timing.

Common Questions (5)

  • It can trigger an immediate prorated Walmart+ refund, but the amount depends on how much time is left on the current plan. Reported refunds range from a few dollars to over $90, and some users saw the refund post right after linking.

  • The bundle is prorated based on your current renewal dates, so the amount can vary widely instead of always being $22. Some accounts show a small add-on charge and a refund for unused Walmart+ time, while others are quoted much higher amounts like $48, $53, or even the full $120 depending on what memberships are already active and when they renew.

  • Yes, if you already have Sam's Club Plus, linking can show as free and simply connect the accounts. The Walmart+ benefit then appears on the Walmart account, and the membership can be linked through the Sam's app or Walmart app after logging in.

  • Yes. The bundle is described as an auto-renewing annual membership, and the renewal can jump to the full $120 annual price unless it is canceled beforehand.

  • Linking can stop American Express Walmart+ statement credits from applying, and the bundle is annual rather than monthly. The student discount question is unresolved in the comments, but the Amex credit warning is explicit.

Just did it. Had to pay $128, got a refund of $11.55. I currently have Walmart+ & Sam's Basic. Sams was set to renew in a week & Walmart next month. I've been debating on Sam's+ for a while now so went ahead & did it.

If I have wm+ renewing for $49 next month not $98.. $22 is supposed to be the difference between wm+ at full price and Sam's club .but it's showing $120, which means I'm effectively losing the $49 wm+ discount for next year

So is my total cost supposed to be $71 for next year?
Dont upgrade now. Upgrade it after the wm+ renewed at $49. you would have to pay $22 then. So total $22+$49 for both. Next year would be $120 but we can find some kind of promo at that time hopefully.

so if you currently only have a Sam's Club plus membership, there's no deal in this?

I already have Sam's Club Plus. How do I get Walmart+?

Walmart+ is available to Plus members at no extra cost! Existing Sam's Club Plus members can link their Sam's Club Plus and Walmart+ accounts to start using your Walmart+ benefits.
