I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.
Community Reviews
This bundle ties Walmart Plus and Sam's Club Plus together, with the main appeal being a single linked membership that can unlock both services and trigger prorated refunds on existing Walmart Plus time. The comments point to useful perks like Sam's member pricing, 2 percent Sam's Cash, free curbside pickup, Walmart free shipping with no minimum, and same day delivery thresholds. Several account links completed smoothly, but the upgrade price varies widely, with charges and refunds ranging from a few dollars to the full $120, and some setups showing higher or unexpected renewal amounts. It looks most useful if the timing and account setup line up cleanly.
Account linking can trigger a prorated Walmart+ refund after providing Sam's Club login credentials.
The linking flow can complete inside the Walmart app or via a Sam's Club website pop-up without an extra charge for existing Sam's Club Plus members.
Walmart+ benefits include free shipping with no order minimums and same-day delivery on eligible orders.
Sam's Club Plus benefits can include member-only pricing, 2% Sam's Cash with an annual cap, and free curbside pickup.
The upgrade price shown in the app can differ from the deal's stated "as little as" amount, including charges around $48 to $58 plus tax.
Renewal pricing can change after the offer, including cases where a $49 renewal offer disappears and a $120 renewal for both memberships appears.
Early renewal timing can reduce the prorated refund amount, including examples showing only $7 back.
Linking may not work as expected for monthly Walmart+ setups, such as Amex Platinum arrangements, because the promo appears aimed at annual membership.

But with that said, I also hate how WM will still fulfill an order with a gig worker from the local store even when you choose "shipping" if the local store has the inventory.
