I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂
Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.
Community Reviews
This bundle ties Walmart+ and Sam's Club Plus into one annual membership, and the strongest upside is that linking existing accounts can unlock the other service at little or no extra cost. The process often works through the Sam's or Walmart app, and several linked accounts triggered prorated Walmart+ refunds ranging from a few dollars to much more. The main catch is that the price math is inconsistent, with some upgrades showing $22, $48, $58, or the full $120, and the bundle can interfere with Amex credits or senior discounts. It looks best for people already using both memberships and willing to check the exact charge before confirming.
Account linking can trigger a prorated Walmart+ refund after entering Sam's Club login details.
Existing Sam's Club Plus members can link Walmart+ through the Sam's app pop-up without an extra charge.
The bundled plan can align renewal timing so Walmart+ expires when Sam's Club Plus expires unless re-signed.
Walmart+ benefits can appear instantly after linking accounts in the Walmart experience.
Upgrade pricing can mismatch the advertised "as little as $22" amount and show higher charges like $48 or $53.11.
Prorated refunds can be much smaller than expected, including refunds showing $7 or only a few dollars back.
The bundle can affect Amex statement credits, with linking potentially canceling those credits while Walmart+ remains included.
Walmart+ delivery can still require a minimum $35 spend, which can limit convenience even with the membership.

But with that said, I also hate how WM will still fulfill an order with a gig worker from the local store even when you choose "shipping" if the local store has the inventory.
