Always thought this would have been a better move for Walmart/Sam's Club.
I have both but W+ on my name and Sams+ in SO's name, so can't link them for refund 😂

Edit: just linked both accounts from W+ app. All it asked was Sam's Club login/pwd and issued refund for prorated W+ membership. I had used Amex offer for W+, so Amex may take back the credit but I'll still get some back. So that's a win.

If I had to pick between Amazon and Walmart+ im going Walmart every day. Amazon has turned into an untraceable Chinese flea market, it's unrecognizable anymore. At least Walmart for all its faults has (comparatively) rigorous supply chain vetting once you filter the search to pare back to Walmart's own retailer inventory. Same or next day delivery for most stuff, it's just so much better than prime now.

I just signed up for w+ 2 weeks ago. Getting a $95 refund because of Sams+.

My Sams+ expires Oct 28. LOL.

Can anyone clarify if the accounts can be unlinked? I've been bouncing between a few Sam's accounts to use signup offers to keep the yearly cost down. Worried my Walmart will be tied to a Sam's membership that I'd have to renew at full price to keep the W+ benefits.

Weird!!!? I added the Sams part n it came up to $53.11. What did I do incorrectly!? Already have Walmart plus, just added the Sams part, thought it was supposed to be $22?? Plus it has me renewing next July 2027.

This is what I did also. Went to Sams Club website, was already logged in, and a pop up told me I could link Walmart+ for free. No extra charge, and it will expire when my Sams Club Plus does unless I sign up again. Note it will charge automatically for another year membership after this one expires if I don't cancel membership beforehand.

If you regularly cycle emails for Sam's Club, this is basically just regular price I think. You can usually get base Sam's for $10ish each year, upgrade for another $60 (and sometimes there's deals on that too) and then there's often methods to be able to get WM+ for $49.99. That's $120.

It does remove the annual dance of making a new account which isn't worthless, but I'm not sure it's that amazing of a slickdeal. Great for set it and forget it folks though.

Edit: reading it again, it seems like the play is to make WM+ your "main" by adding on Sam's for $22, then hope that you can still get the occasional $49.99 base renewal offer when canceling. It sounds like if you link existing accounts for both then Sam's becomes your main at $120/year, and I haven't personally seen discounted renewals when canceling with Sam's.

Add to that Amazon has "lost" two of my packages recently. WTF?? I had to contact Amazon to get a refund, and even though they've agreed to refund I have yet to see it.

Amazon also holds packages in order to see if they can combine orders if you happen to order anything a few days later.

This Section 1.12 applies to individuals who enroll in a Walmart+ Membership bundled with Sam's Club Plus Membership ("Walmart+ with Sam's Club Plus") through Walmart. How long does it take to get an email about the refund? my Sam's Club membership is coming up due in December, so I renewed at $130. I'm hoping to get a pre-payment back on the Walmart refund portion if I understand this correctly.
