Got it and the 12.0 forge for $186. Amazon isn't an authorized milwaukee distributor, but warranty claims can go through the serial number.

If it's a legit product and you don't have a receipt from an authorized dealer, the warranty goes by serial number. However, depending on how long these grey market batteries have been sitting in warehouses or were being shipped from country to country to country, that warranty time frame could be largely eaten up already.

Yeah, I almost added that caveat. I'll report the manufacture date on here for future reference. My experience with forge have been very solid, but you're right, it's worth mentioning
