It's strange to me the best deal I've seen on the newest lego batman is $40 when these older games are still well reviewed and only $4 for all three. Anyone familiar with all the games have a way to rationalize paying up for the newest game vs these ones?

Obviously this is cheap enough not to think much about it, more a question for the value of the newest game

Well if you've already played these games then you might want to get the newest one. It does have better graphics and gameplay too.

Lego games usually drop in price though

I mean, the same could basically be argued for many franchises with older games vs. newer games.

Otherwise, I would recommend, if one is not already doing so, to use a price-tracking site like IsThereAnyDeal to set a target price for a wish list item.

Fun games. I had an issue with the second one where it would freeze and crash during the Killer Croc fight. We moved on to the next game, but hopefully it has been fixed in the intervening years.

This is $5 if you buy it directly on Steam.

Why is it strange that a brand new game would cost $40. They have to make a return on the development, marketing, etc. Old games they can charge what they want to for. These keys are sold by a key reseller so this is even more the case.

The rationalization is, do you want a brand new video game.

I picked this up!!! Plus the Batman Arkham collection they had which is 3 games with 2 of them being the GOTY editions and the other with the season pass bonus AND the Zombie Army Trilogy of games so 9 really good/fun games (and tons of hours in game play) in total for $10.68! I already played a couple or few of them but its been a long time and they're all worth revisiting!
