I think Amazon has lost the plot with such ridiculous pricing for their recent devices including Kindles, Alexa tablets and now this colorsoft - especially given such a poor track record of previous gens of these colorsoft devices with hardware and light bleed issues etc ... Even with rising chip prices paying this much makes no sense for Kindles as nothing much changes in terms of experience across generations and previous gen devices selling at woot and resale for dirt cheap prices and sometimes in very good condition (ymmv) ... Just my opinion, others may disagree

they've also cheapened their manufacturing process. lots of complaints that the edges bleed yellow light now.

$320. Are you kidding me rofl

I got my 2021 Paperwhite recertified for $80. Got amazon CS to remove the ads. Jailbroke it. Bought $15 BT controller. Installed BT HIT on Kindle. Installed KOReader. Bought $16 LISEN arm. For $110, I have the ultimate setup and none of this $320 colorsoft nonsense.
