These were my first wireless probs and I did really enjoy the ease of use. The dock was...never touched. I honestly went straight to the APP and don't see a need for the base at all. The APP was relatively intuitive and cleanly laid out.
Need to do a few more cooks to really get a better feel.
Zero issues on battery or connectivity.
In the app, using the preset temps is easy, but choosing a favorite/custom target takes several taps to get through, and low volume warnings can't be permanently dismissed. Not a problem once or twice but flipping through several menus every single time gets old.
After using the base unit for over a year now, I still regularly press the wrong buttons while flipping through the menus trying to set the thing up, which is annoying for something that should be so simple.
Annoying enough that if I found another brand with better usability, I'd switch.
