This rechargeable wet and dry body trimmer is best at comfortable close body grooming, especially for sensitive areas and armpits, with several reports of no snags and a gentle cut. Battery life also stands out, with long runtime and some units still going strong after a year. The main cautions are that it can be risky without the guard, since the blade is very sharp and can nick or bleed, and charging hardware seems inconsistent across versions, ranging from USB C to a proprietary two pin cable. A solid low cost trimmer if you are careful and know which charger version you are getting.

Looks like the product description shows USB-B charging. There is a newer model that is USB-C

Proprietary charger.
That is correct.

The unboxing video shows USBC.

After some searching, it looks like an older version used a proprietary charger, but the new models use USBC.
This deal was slightly cheaper in August. Those products shipped with the USB-A to proprietary plug. Per the founder of Manscape: The MANSPOT Manscape Trimmer comes with a proprietary charging cable — it's not USB-C or a standard charger. It uses a special 2-prong connector (5V, 1A) designed specifically for this trimmer.

It's USB-A,
If they have 'recently' switched and changed their manufacturing process out of China to USB-C, it is still a proprietary charger. It's one of the drawbacks reviewers have posted about. (Norelco and Braun also use proprietary chargers although theirs plug directly into an outlet. The Manspot needs a usb wall adapter or other usb connection that provides enough juice for charging.)

The founder says to contact the company if the cable has been lost, damaaged, etc.
(source: comments made online by founder of Manscape and product inserts included with the shaver.)

Edit: here's a review explaining older versions DID have USB-C, but newer versions do NOT: https://www.amazon.com/review/R293Q0ZXWZOVPX
Edit2: on the Amazon page it states there IS old and new packaging, and they are shipped randomly. I know the old packaging is USB-A to 2-prong proprietary. Seems like a mixed bag if one will actually get USB-C, if that's in the "new" packaging.

I'm happy to be proven wrong at this point as there appears to be lot's of confusion.
I have the green model with the USB-A.
If folks jump on this, perhaps they can report back if they got the new packaging and USB-C.

Old version had USB-C. New version has the proprietary charging interface (2-pin). I ordered one yesterday to confirm - immediately set up a return when I saw the terrible design change.

The amazon listing stated USB B. I bought one a couple years back and it was USB C. The one that my wife got was proprietary.

CTGLRYIN still takes off $11.55 so you might be getting a different promo. If you're using the Amazon app don't forget to tap the arrow in the promo code box to apply the code.

Deal breaker to me. Easy to misplace and then useless.

A 6% coupon is automatically applied, giving that $1.98 discount. That has to be removed before using the code from the OP. Same issue the last time this deal was posted. The discounted price will show correctly once that's done.
