Trust me bro
For a "throw it in the vehicle" type of speaker, I'd go for something like the Onn Medium Party Speaker at 1/3 the price. Larger woofer, waterproof, sounds good, and you wouldn't be as angry if it gets damaged or stolen.
Plus, the Onn has a FM receiver, so you get that (along with bluetooth and aux). The Klipsch is missing FM, and it's really designed more for placement in the corner of some room without a lot of noise.
I own both - two "The Three Plus," and many of the "Onn Medium gen2" speakers (and two of the "large gen2" models). I'd grab the Onn Medium for most things, including your inquiry purpose.

It's not exactly small. Where would you put it? And why, instead of some cheap used headunit and speakers?

Mine were only $45 each or around there, so maybe I should open one up to take a look. I think prying the grill off to get to the screws is the hardest part of disassembly, and that's only if the person is worried about scratching the grill paint, or putting a small mark in the plastic housing.
The larger Onn speakers aren't waterproof though, which is one of the many reasons I like the "Medium," and use them between one to a half dozens days per week (fewer now that autumn is here, and I'm not outside as much).
The Onn doesn't auto power on either! Also requires manually turning off the LEDs each time it's used (or just cut the LED wires while in there removing the battery cells). So maybe that alone is another deal breaker. I don't know how the Klipsch behaves if power is cut and re-applied.
