Habit Burger and Grill is a strong value play here, especially for a cheap lunch or dinner when the free Double Charburger is paired with an $8 purchase. The deal can be stretched with a large drink and side, and free jalapeños, sweet potato fries, or tempura green beans add flexibility. Some have also turned the purchase into a full meal or even split the burger for later. Taste and quality are the main caveats, since the burger flavor, bun, and overall consistency vary by location, and a few locations have been described as disappointing.
A large drink plus a side can push the order just past the $8 threshold for the free Double Charburger offer.
Free jalapeños and multiple side options like sweet potato fries and tempura green beans can add value to the meal.
A $8 order of $2 beef patties reportedly resulted in a double char with cheese being free.
Using the offer reportedly makes Habit hard to beat for lunch or dinner pricing, and the burgers can taste amazing.
The offer may not appear in the app for some accounts, even when a free burger with a drink is visible.
Burger taste can be unpleasant, with the meat reportedly not tasting good even when the burger looks well assembled.
Burger quality can vary by location, including reports of mushy burgers and burgers tasting like "slop."
Some locations may deliver poor food quality, including reports of burger meat tasting worse than McDonald's and grilled chicken covered in oil.

Always get the toppings on the side so the bun doesn't get soggy
