This is 80 percent lean ground beef that stands out for convenience and a low effective price when the deal and coupon line up. The beef has strong Amazon ratings, USDA inspection, and repeat reports of decent flavor, with some saying it freezes well and works fine for tacos or chili. The main caveat is availability and pricing vary by area, and country of origin is not clearly labeled, which has raised food safety concerns. A practical option if the local price and shipping still pencil out.

  • The deal can support buying multiple pounds for cooking plans like chili within the stated limit.

  • The ground beef quality and flavor reportedly match typical grocery store and Costco ground beef.

  • The beef reportedly freezes really well for later use.

  • USDA inspection and passing are mentioned as part of the product details.

  • Country of origin is not clearly shown, which can make Argentina or other origin assumptions difficult to verify.

  • Availability and pricing can vary by area, including cases where the deal price is not worthwhile or the item is unavailable.

  • Shipping and minimum order requirements can raise the effective per-pound cost when the cart does not reach the free-delivery threshold.

  • Some orders reportedly include undesirable chunks like cartilage, which can reduce repeat-purchase willingness.

I'm worried about this as well. I suppose if you don't see a country of origin, it's probably best to assume it is the mystery meat from Argentina.

What's up with the hate for Argentinian beef? Before the recent dust up, Argentinian beef used to generally be considered top quality.

What do you add to make the total more than $25 for free delivery/shipping (even though I have Prime, it's a $25min for free shipping)

Not sure why people are wondering about imported beef when you've been more than likely eating it for the last 10+ years. (The U.S. hasnt been able to keep up with the beef demand for it's own population for a long time now.) Next time you're in the drive through, wonder if your burger or taco meat came from Australia, Brazil, Canada, or Argentina.

Canadian lean beef trimmings is what was in circulation over the last 10 years until the new tariffs this year. Additionally the 2001 ban on Argentinian beef was imposed after Foot and mouth disease (virus) was found in the supply, after Argentina started vaccinated their cows against it the meat was slowly reintroduced, yet restricted by a strict USA tariff, until now. Even China passed on importing this current meat they are selling. LOL no thanks

let's assume you are a 200 Lb person who accidently bought a XS Shirt with your Beef, will need to return it later.
