I've had this now for ~2.5 years.
73% brightness.
Static windows taskbar.
~12 hours use per day.
no burn in I can tell. it's my main work/gaming monitor. I personally love it and find the very mild curve helpful and no issue.

I think the Samsung G80SH for $599 spoiled me.

The AW3225QF stands out as a 32 inch 4K 240 hertz QD OLED gaming monitor with excellent image quality, strong HDR, and a mild curve that helps with glare and feels natural for long sessions. The eARC port is a real bonus for routing audio, and the panel has held up well in long term use with no visible burn in in several heavy use reports. The main cautions are OLED care and platform quirks, since the screen can pick up micro scratches, DSC cannot be disabled, and Mac use needs manual HDR toggling. It is a polished high end display, especially if you want OLED contrast and can drive it with a strong GPU.

Common Questions (5)

  • It has reported no visible burn-in after 18 months to about 2.5 years of heavy daily use, including static taskbars and photo editing. The QD-OLED panel still benefits from normal care, but long-term ownership reports are reassuring.

    EragornBillyCavesTred009Yemathums

  • At $780, it is considered a strong price for this 32-inch 4K 240Hz QD-OLED, especially compared with earlier purchases around $810 or $680 after coupons and cashback. Some newer 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLEDs have been seen in a similar price range, so the value depends on whether you want this specific Alienware model and its features.

    Hans_GruberreicadenGreyPicture4748GreyPicture4748

  • No, DSC cannot be disabled on this monitor. If DSC control is a requirement, a different model such as an MSI option may be a better fit.

    rebel0508psk177

  • It is G-Sync Compatible over standard VRR and uses VESA AdaptiveSync, so VRR should work with AMD cards like the RX 9070 XT. It does not have a dedicated G-Sync module and is not FreeSync Premium branded.

    bigtom77Eragorn

  • It has 1 DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, 2 HDMI 2.1 FRL ports, and one HDMI port supports eARC passthrough for audio systems. It also includes USB upstream/downstream ports plus USB-C downstream charging.

It feels flat after about 2 days. I can't look at regular monitors now.

The HDR1000 mode they added really made these pop without having to use Dolby Vision mode.

Best monitor ever made IMO. It's perfect. I think I got them cheaper on a past deal that involved credit card offers, but still a great price. I have 2 that I run side by side
I wanted to get a second one but putting them side by side I don't quite know how to make it work. How do you position them? One straight on and one to the side?

Fantastic deal on a Fantastic monitor. I have this and its AMAZING. Have had no "burn in" issues or anything. I've had it 18 months with no issues at all. Treat it well and it'll treat you well. Absolutely GORGEOUS display.

Got when it came out bc I was tired of older screens, tried tvs as monitors, IPS hurt my eyes, caused strain. Had fancy ips monitors in the past. this one is gorgeous and the qd old in a league of their own. Overall they're getting cheaper and you need a top tier gpu to drive it. As long as it holds up I don't think there will be a screen to top it and no plans to replace. Picture quality aside, my eye health is better with oled. There's other lower res oled much cheaper, consider them if this is out of your price range which is understandable. Screens are everywhere in this modern world, protect your eyes.

Got this a year ago with some coupons and cashback shenanigans for 680. What a boss of a monitor. Absolutely the best. That said, this is a great price and with cashback might be even better

Can anyone recommend a good monitor arm for this? Feel like the stock stand is too bulky

I've had this for a few years now and it's honestly the best monitor I've had. I usually upgrade every year but I haven't had the need to with these top notch specs. I find the slight curve helps with glare as it's not much of a curve at all. Definitely worth the price now that it's discounted
