Q Acoustics makes decent bookshelf speakers and towers. Unfortunately, they are such a WAF-dominated design/marketing strategy that they refuse to make anything but undersized, and thus inevitably underperforming, center speakers and subwoofers.
This SUB1000 is worth about $250.
The RSL 10e or 10s would smoke it for less money ($340 and $500 respectively) while only being a LITTLE bit bigger. Unless one lives in a fricking closet, I would not sacrifice decent bass just for a few lousy inches.
