Amazon
Hi...
Bought my son a Skytech gaming pc last black friday. Unfortunately... it suddenly stopped working earlier this week. It wont power on at all. Called Skytech and they said to send it in for repair as it is still under 1 year warranty.
Never sent a PC through the mail/Fed Ex before. How do we pack this thing?
We do have the original box. Surprisingly my son managed to get the PC out without breaking the styrofoam inserts. So we are good there.
The PC case is huge (compared to all my previous business type desktop PCs)... and I understand we are supposed to fill it up? To prevent the graphics card from moving?
Amazon has "pc packing" inflating foam packs.. How many would we need? 2? 4? A whole 10 pack? I asked the Skytech guy how we should secure the components but he wouldnt tell me!!! Instead he reminded me that if the unit is damaged in transit it is not their fault. Gee, thanks.
THANKS for any advice!!
