This PowerSpec build stands out as a strong value for a gaming PC, with the RTX 5070, 32GB of DDR5, and 1TB NVMe drawing the most praise. The 7500X3D is described as plenty fast for gaming, and the AM5 platform leaves room for future CPU upgrades. The 850 watt power supply also makes a GPU swap straightforward if needed. Main caveats are the plain case, the 12GB VRAM on the 5070, and a BIOS update that may be needed for stability. It looks like a solid base for someone who wants a ready to go system now.
Upgrading by swapping an AM5 CPU or a different GPU can be feasible if the power supply is sufficient.
The system can deliver strong gaming performance without frequent CPU bottlenecks in games.
Micro Center open-box pricing can drop substantially, making the same specs easier to afford.
The 32GB DDR5 and 1TB NVMe configuration is appealing for buyers who need a PC immediately.
PowerSpec customer service can include price matching and in-store repair under a free 1-year warranty.
The 7500X3D CPU can be considered lackluster compared with higher-tier X3D options.
The RTX 5070's 12GB VRAM may become limiting over time, requiring lower graphics settings.
Some systems may have instability that requires a BIOS update to improve overall stability.
The case design may be unattractive, which can matter for buyers who care about appearance.

It's more about whether the power supply is enough, so make sure it is.
EDIT: It is. See below post.

Looks like it's perfect!! (if you don't overclock)
Unless you love building systems yourself and dealing with all the things that can go wrong, buying this and upgrading the graphics card is the best possible move imo.
Some motherboards, CPUs and other components are not fully/properly compatible with each other, even though they are supposed to be. That's something you can usually only learn by building many systems yourself, as I have.
Personally I'd keep the 5070 or make sure I had access to it, until the full PC warranty expires. This way if the PC fails for whatever reason, you can get it repaired under warranty with the 5070 installed.
