These (not exact model) are $3.99 at harbor freight and $4.99 at Menards. Some of the reviews state that the HF ones are better than these from Amazon.

I've never used any before so I can't speak to any of it. But I think I'll just get one from my local store next time I'm out.

I have the $4 Pittsburgh Pro from HF, and it works fine. I still ordered this Mulwark one because it appears to have a more ergonomic handle.

FWIW, I keep HF punches in all 3 of my cars as emergency glass breakers and I store them in my center consoles. Hopefully I can find them when I need them. 🙂

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I bought two of this exact punch model in Sep of 2022. Both of mine intermittently/frequently fail to spring activate. Hopefully the product quality has improved by now

Much cheaper on Haul, but not buying more stuff to meet the $25 min.

But here's the twin pack w/o the red knob, $5.98 (just bought, TY for reminding me I needed), no coupon required: www.amazon.com/dp/B0F1TYV9HL

Are these strong enough to break safety glass?
