Looks the same as the kalkal one I purchased. Probably not the most luxurious, but worth trying if someone is saddle curious. I spent the last couple days in one and it's pretty awesome.
So mine came today. Honestly it doesn't seem half bad...
All the carabiners are steel and heavy so I will replace those with aluminum ones. All the buckles seem sturdy and pretty heavy duty. The bridge rope is Amsteel/Dyneema type rope, the other 2 included ropes are normal climbing type rope, they did sew the ends together to make the loops which I hate. There isn't any fraying or loose stitching that I can find in the saddle.
The platform is all aluminum minus the bolts. It is going to need some tape to stop the clang when folding closed. Its got a rubber stopper and reinforcement plate to press against when standing on it. The way to adjust the angle is not something one would do when up in a new tree so I plan to just leave it as is.
For 100$ this for sure beats my previous setup of a rock climbing harness and a sit-drag.
I imagine that this is incredibly similar to any other "low end" saddle. All of those likely come from similar places in China anyway and if not all the materials they use probably do.
Obviously I do plan to make sure I am comfortable in it low to the ground before I use it 25' in the air but no causes for concern on initial inspection.
Looking at pictures of the XOP Mutant, this is nearly identical in style.
