Not premium, but great for the price.
It isn't super bright. It's okay during the day with blinds closed, but best used at night with no light bleeding into the room if you don't want a really washed out image.
built in bluetooth has horrible delay. if you are connecting a streaming device or media player to it, sync the bluetooth speaker to that device and not the projector.
image latency is low enough for casual gaming. I wouldn't play COD, but single player action games and RPGs should be fine.
For $30 its a no brainer if you are looking for a starter projector.
The second, that I like better, is the Vankyo V700 Pro and it puts out 720 lumins tops and came with a 120 foot fabric screen. The detail and brightness of the V700 is very good. It is a larger unit but also has Google TV built into it. I paid around $50+ for this unit, but for the small difference in price, I think it is the better value. Both are refurbs or returns. They both work fine.
There are a lot of good deals on ebay and the best always show up on Slickdeals.

This is a budget 1080p projector that works best in a dark room for casual movie nights, basement setups, Halloween projections, or a bedroom. It is decently bright for the price, with solid color and contrast when the room is dark, and the Bluetooth audio and basic controls are useful for simple setups. The main drawbacks are limited brightness in daylight, noisy fans, and no auto keystone or zoom, with some reports of uneven focus across the screen. It feels like a good value if you can live with the rough edges.
The projector can deliver solid 1080p resolution and decent brightness in dark rooms or basements.
Bluetooth audio can work well when paired with a soundbar or sound system.
The projector supports flip and rotation controls for ceiling mounting or rear projection setups.
Mechanical focus and keystone adjustments help produce a usable image for casual viewing.
The projector is not super bright and can look washed out during daytime without controlled lighting.
Edge-to-edge sharpness can be inconsistent, with one area sharp while other areas blur.
The projector lacks auto keystone adjustment, which can make setup annoying for everyday use.
The built-in Bluetooth audio can introduce horrible delay that makes syncing difficult.

All in all, if you're on the fence like I was, you'll appreciate grabbing this. Crazy good deal at $30 for what you get.

It's a very adequate inexpensive projector with all the issues people have already mentioned. It is not a short throw project whatsoever so the minimum distance was idk like 6 feet, probably more like 8 or 10? As someone mentioned, I could never get a truly sharp focus edge-to-edge across the image, but I think that's pretty common for these cheap projectors. For very occasional use or as a near-toy to screw around with, it's pretty darn good given the low low price. If you're gonna use it for more than a few hours a week I'd probably look for a higher grade of used projector.
While the world burns, our lives decay, and the prices go up on everything else, display technology continues to improve and cheapen.
