Highly, highly recommend not buying a Samsung washer (or any of their appliances, really).
YMMV.

I've had the same Samsung refrigerator for 15 years, no problems except operator abuse (kids).

Washing machine? Maybe. Bought matching dryer/washer at the same time ~ 2010. In around an 8 year timeframe the shell cracked and would spill water (fixed it with some JB Weld and fiberglass mesh) then shortly thereafter the yoke (the piece that supports and turns the tub in the shell) rotted away. Apparently a common problem with that era of washing machines. Trashed it and got a Whirlpool.

The dryer still runs today, though I did have to swap out the belt a few years ago.

None of the appliance repair people near me want to work on Samsung appliances. So we are left with one guy who is willing to do it. Samsung fridge randomly stops making ice. Samsung dishwasher sets off leak sensor all the time. Samsung microwave vent doesn't actually suck in smoke.

There used to be a terrific video on YT of a Samsung washer literally (and I use that word correctly) shaking itself apart violently while running.

Optimal outcome, 5yrs down the road you get your money back and upgrade to a new TV.
Nope. TVs and computers and major appliances do not fall under Costco's "return it forever" provisions. You get 90 days:

On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price*, with the following exceptions:
  • Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days (from the date the member received the merchandise) for Televisions, Projectors, Major Appliances (refrigerators above 10 cu. ft., freezers, ranges, cooktops, over-the-range and under-counter microwaves, range hoods, dishwashers, water heaters, washers and dryers), Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Smart Wearable Devices, Cameras, Aerial Cameras (drones), Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones (return details will vary by carrier service contract).

Great speech but you missed the 5yr warranty.

If they can't fix it you get your purchase price back. They didn't even bother to send someone out for mine.

Please explain more? I purchased a washer and dryer from them about 2 years ago, the dryer door has a broken hinge assembly, and the parts themselves are over a hundred dollars.

Bundled with most TV's (including the Hisense referenced here) but available for other product categories. Sounds like yours didn't come/you didn't get. If you purchase in-store they make a big deal to mention it.

A lot of Hisense TVs die because one of the chips die, no idea if this applies to this model.
That happened to mine; the storage chip died. I replaced the mainboard then just killed the WiFi connection and used an Apple TV.
