Yes but it's more specific than in the past. Most hand tools they offer the lifetime warranty. I have read both good and bad stories of trying to get the defective tool replaced at Lowe's ranging from they don't have that particular hand tool in stock separately so you will have to exchange the whole set to maybe a defective ratchet and you must find one similar as they don't make that model anymore. I have some older USA made sockets and luckily haven't broken any of them. Sears itself was getting tool specific warranty wise before they finally closed shop for good. They stopped the warranty of tool such as hammers and saws and other items that take a lot of abuse.
