Now that Uber & DD are back at Costco, these are normal prices in line with other gift cards. A deal on these now from costco would be like additional $5 off. I hope we can see something like that again in the near future.

Only workaround I've found was to pay with cc and then once trip is completed, go back to ride history and change payment method to gift card.

20% off isn't a sale. But now that Costco and Uber eats are officially partners, when you link your uber eats account to Costco, you can buy an annual Uber one membership for half price and pay for it with a discounted uber gift card. That will drop an annual uber one membership to $40.

Yes for Uber rides and if you couple that with the AMEX Platinum card benefit $15/month and free Uber One it is even worse. The kickback from One makes it a bit more tolerable. I don't use Uber Eats any more because the food and/or driver almost always has an issue and Uber no longer provides refunds. Earlier this year I had to dispute a large Uber Eats charge with AMEX due to driver being continuously changed out (like 5 drivers!) delaying the order by an hour or so. Uber absolutely did not care. AMEX wrote it off by refunding me during the dispute process on their website and immediately closed the case. I've never used Uber Eats since.

Have you checked that your name, address, and email match across your CC, Costco account, and delivery instructions? Costco can be quite fussy about this for gift card orders. (I guess they're trying to make it more difficult for potential fraudsters/hackers to buy GCs with stolen information.)

search for costco on UE. right underneath search store you'll see a bunch of banners. scroll to the right and you'll see a banner for your costco membership . you can link from that banner and buy the discounted membership once your costco account is linked. All you need is your costco membership #
