This rash guard is a low cost pick for sun protection during fishing, outdoor work, trips, and other outdoor activities. The polyester fabric is described as wearable and functional, with good quality, solid value at the discount, and enough durability to hold up after weekly washing for months. It also works well as a layer under scrubs or winter clothing. The main knocks are that it is not especially soft, may feel warm depending on the fabric, and the logo is prominent. A practical sun cover if comfort and branding are not dealbreakers.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. It's used for fishing, outdoor work, athletics, and travel as sun coverage, and it can help protect arms from sunburn. It's a practical alternative to relying only on sunscreen, especially for long outdoor sessions.

  • It's wearable and can be comfortable as a base layer or under scrubs, but the fabric is not as soft as some other materials. The polyester feel can vary, with some similar shirts feeling plasticky and trapping heat while others stay cool.

  • Yes. The coupon worked for multiple shirts, and one order included three shirts at once. That makes it a good option if you want several colors or backups for travel or outdoor use.

  • It can hold up well over time; after weekly washing for 3 months, it was still in like-new condition with no easy string rips. That suggests it's durable enough for regular wear and repeated laundering.

  • Probably not if you want a low-profile look, because the logo is described as prominent. The shirt is appealing as a cheap functional piece, but the branding may be too noticeable for some buyers.

i bought a few of their items from SD and i really like them. i want to get more but i dont want to be a walking freaking billboard for the company. i wish i could take off the branding G 😂
Yeah, wish the logo was at least smaller. Lets everyone know you get your clothes on Amazon...and most likely through a SD 😂

Just ordered a another black one.

I'm waiting to start work and wearing a dark blue one as I type this. Been wearing it and washing jt weekly for 3 months now. Still in like new condition and no easy string rips like other soft material.

Would get more but need to think about colors will work for me.

Right! I'm totally happy wearing a cheap piece of clothing that serves a purpose - like this shirt. I don't really want some weird logo though. I bought some G Gradual shorts for the gym from a previous deal and was happy enough for the low price. I would have bought this if the logo wasn't so prominent.

I don't know how this shirt feels, but some of these polyester rash guard shirts have like a plasticy feel that traps sweat and feel hot (I have a Spyder shirt like this), some are really good at letting sweat escape and keeping cool, they might have hyper reflective strips, more or less elastic, and some feel hyper soft and are just super cozy yet lightweight.I do like that this one appears to have shoulder seams away from where you'd feel them under backpack straps. Has anyone commented yet on how the material from this brand feels? So, there's some contrast between sun rash protection shirts beyond just the material they're made of. Personally, I love them year round, as they're more reliable than sunscreen, great during athletics, and also make for excellent base layers under winter clothing. Just don't get white ones... they get stained by sweat and deoderant.
A dense polyester weave will have higher spf protection because it blocks more sun, but that's really all there is.

Anybody have experience with the arm length? I'm a thinner guy, probably like a Medium in the chest, but I'm 6'1" and a lot of times if I buy a Medium size, the arms are too short
