This rash guard is a low cost pick for sun protection during fishing, outdoor work, trips, and other outdoor activities. The polyester fabric is described as wearable and functional, with good quality, solid value at the discount, and enough durability to hold up after weekly washing for months. It also works well as a layer under scrubs or winter clothing. The main knocks are that it is not especially soft, may feel warm depending on the fabric, and the logo is prominent. A practical sun cover if comfort and branding are not dealbreakers.

  • The rash guard provides sun coverage rather than warmth for outdoor use.

  • The polyester rash guard can work as a base layer under winter clothing and under scrubs.

  • A discount code can make the shirts a good value for multiple purchases and trips.

  • The fabric holds up after weekly washing for three months without easy string rips.

  • The polyester feel can be plasticky and may trap sweat, making the shirt feel hot.

  • The fabric is not as soft as some alternatives, though it remains wearable.

  • The logo can be too prominent for some buyers, which affects whether they would repurchase.

  • The shirt can be damaged by burn holes from cigar smoking during use.

Got 3 of these for the Philippines. Hats, shirts, and umbrellas, all needed when visiting the cousins. Any sun protection you can get is a plus. Coupon worked for multiple shirts. Thanks
Oh hell yeah! That sun above the Philippines is brutal.

It came from SD getting commission posting it and not disclosing it.Look at the majority of comments on this post. People with no posting history or rep points. These are shill posts...just endorsed by SD staff.
Oh absolutely. That said, I am a huge fan of sun and wearing these types of shirts at the beach, and at $10, SD brought us a good deal. This time...

It's just polyester, there's nothing special about it. I'd also doubt their claims considering they're willing to trick people into buying their products.

I don't know how this shirt feels, but some of these polyester rash guard shirts have like a plasticy feel that traps sweat and feel hot (I have a Spyder shirt like this), some are really good at letting sweat escape and keeping cool, they might have hyper reflective strips, more or less elastic, and some feel hyper soft and are just super cozy yet lightweight.

I do like that this one appears to have shoulder seams away from where you'd feel them under backpack straps. Has anyone commented yet on how the material from this brand feels?

So, there's some contrast between sun rash protection shirts beyond just the material they're made of. Personally, I love them year round, as they're more reliable than sunscreen, great during athletics, and also make for excellent base layers under winter clothing. Just don't get white ones... they get stained by sweat and deoderant.

100% polyester, good luck with all those microplastics entering your bloodstream when you workout in this.
Do people like you avoid any food wrapped in plastic? Like do you only shop at farmers market?I'm curious because this fear of wearing plastics would also extend to food but I often find that people like you ignore microplastics through food wrappings and general modern day existence.

There are plenty of identical option from other no-name random Amazon brands. This is not a SD. Just SD artificially pushing this junk to the front page.

Is there a reason you can't disclose when you are being paid by the seller to post these things? This is clearly the case here. It's ruining the very essence of what SD was.
