We have a statue similar to this one (Bear with a Honey Jar). If you have any trees in the way during the day where you plan to place the statue, it can be annoying to make sure the small solar panel points in the direction of the sun for at least 6 hours. If it had a way to charge via USB or had an external solar panel, then you could have more latitude towards the placement of the statue around your home. Also, with our Honey Bear, the light isn't as bright as we thought it was going to be. It's rather dim. So much, you think you didn't charge it enough even when left in full sun all day!

I bought a pig and a frog from dollar General for like $5 each and they've worked for 6 months already. I was thinking about adding this to my collection but I really don't need to spend any more money on junk
