Sorry to ask but what does this mean? I see there is a "handle" on the top, do you mean something different? Newbie here
If you do a search on top handle chainsaws, you will see examples. They are commonly saws for tree climbers. They are mostly on smaller saws 12 to 14 inch. You could put a longer bar; however, they are not as safe. The "handle" is referring to the throttle being on the top of the saw instead of the back. It makes the saw able to use with one hand. Having one hand on the handle near the brake, and the other hand towards the back with the throttle is safer especially with a longer bar. One should be more experienced with saws in general when using one hand. Smaller saws are easier to control with one hand. Tree climbers will change to a "back" handle (throttle) saw with longer bars. One needs the extra support to control the saw if it kicks.

Is that because it's easier to hold one handed with a top handle? I'm new to chainsaws lol
