Sounds like a personal problem. Have several different cameras from the doorbell to floodlight camera to stand alone cameras and haven't had a single problem with them.

If you get this, could it technically work completely without Internet? LIke does the Homebase have a WebGUI you can log into locally?

From what I understand it works even during power outages as it has battery backup and powers the cameras with PoE.

Pro is a waste of money; it works almost the same as Home Base 3 that's all you need for less than half the cost.

No. Your camera needs to have the feature. It's likely only the few wired/PoE cameras does 24/7. That being said C31 wired camera that costs about $35 on prime day does what you want with 1080p resolution being the downside. I have them and they are fantastic for the price.

I have the lower tier and I think I paid the same price so this is a solid deal. I will say - the Ai functionality added with this is fairly weak. I added faces and enabled everything and it works about 35% of the time. Useful but - take that for what it's worth.

Stay away from Eufy!!! Clueless support staff, and constantly releasing broken updates to the app. Not worth the time or the effort to get this working consistantly.
