These Panasonic CR2032 coin cells are mainly valued as a low-cost option for AirTags, Samsung tags, key fobs, and calipers. They fit the job well, and the batteries appear to lack the bitter child-safety coating that can hurt performance in some devices. The main drawback is shorter runtime than Energizer or Duracell, with reports ranging from about half as long to around nine months in a car. A few comments also raise concerns about dead batteries or Amazon sourcing, so they make sense as a budget backup rather than a premium long-life choice.

Technically. Yes. They do not last as long as Energizer or Duracell. Duracell makes the longest lasting cr2032 battery.
This isn't a deal. This is normal price for these.

Just adding to the comment. I bought these for Samsung tags, and they last about half as long, but they are great to have on hand for calipers or when you are leaving for a trip, and one tracker is about dead, or your car's key fob dies. For 6 bucks, I'm happy to have these in a drawer. A year-long lifetime in a tracker is still good for less than $1.

People on here saying Panasonic doesn't last as long but I see tests showing they last the longest, even if just by a little bit

Pro tip: Most 2032 batteries come with a bitter coating for child safety. For many things such as Samsung tags and higher end keyfobs, you need to rub off the bitter coating with something like isopropyl alcohol, otherwise you'll have degraded performance. On the plus side, these Panasonic batteries do not appear to have that coating. Big plus to these.

Stay away from these Panasonic 2032
They are cheap for a reason. I bought last time and they are all dead within a month or two kept in the package

Work supplied me with a couple packs of these since we use AirTags to track certain equipment and I will say they do not seem to last as long as the original batteries but they work fine otherwise.
