Keep in mind this requires a AA battery, it doesn't have a rechargeable battery built-in. I made that mistake but I got a good condition one for $19 so I'll live with it.

Was my favorite mouse. I had several of them but all had the double click issue in less than a year of use. It still work but the double clicking issue is unbearable

To me this is a benefit. Longer battery life and quickly replaceable when not at home

I prefer that too. At least if the batt goes bad I don't have e-waste.

Good point and to each their own.

I just like not having to worry about batteries and being able to plug in. I can replace the internal rechargeable battery too if needed later on.

I got this and it is a dogshit product. It's heavy, the tracking is awful, constantly loses connection for a second thus making it impossible to use in gaming and annoying to use at work. Don't bother, if you need a cheap portable mouse buy some unknown Chinese brand like UINEER or some cheap shit like that, at least they won't lose connection every 3 minutes.

Agree, I've had this mouse for two plus years and it's been great. I don't like that the usb receiver is available should it get lost, but on the flip side doesn't have the rubbery texture Logitech's products have. Lasts forever on the AA battery.

The Razer Orochi V2 over this all day. The feel in the hand is way better. The buttons are super quiet and short travel. The ease of being able to press both thumb buttons is extremely appreciated!
Grab a four-pack of Eneloop batteries and you're never dealing with charging.
If you have Amazon and you can return stuff easily, give it a try. You won't look back. I had both of these mice and I gave the G305 away and ended up buying a second Orochi for my tablet.
