This Samsung all in one stands out for fast vented drying and compact convenience, especially when a traditional laundry vent is already in place. The vented setup is described as drying small loads in under an hour, regular loads in under two, and heavy loads in under three, while the ventless alternative is said to take longer and collect lint on the coils. The top mounted vent sticks out more than expected, and the filter needs cleaning after every wash. Warranty details are also disputed, with the actual coverage described as one year parts and labor, three years on the stainless tub part, and ten years on the washing motor part.
Homes with an existing dryer vent, because the vented design dries faster and can finish small loads in under an hour.
Buyers who want a stacked-style all-in-one that frees floor space, because removing a separate dryer can make room for a utility sink or a second unit.
Shoppers who want long-term appliance reliability, because a Samsung washer can develop a grinding clutch problem after a few years and end up costing about as much as a replacement.
Comparable prices have been seen at Costco around $1,955 to $2,000 with free haul-away and install, and Best Buy had it for $1,949 with free install and haul. That makes this offer look weaker if you can get those extras included.
This model is the vented version, so it is best for a laundry room that already has a traditional dryer vent. The vented design dries faster than the ventless version, but the vent is built into the top and can stick out farther than expected.
The warranty is 1 year parts and labor, 3 years for the stainless tub part only, and 10 years for the washing DIT motor part only. The advertised "2 year warranty" is not the Samsung warranty itself.
Dry times can be much shorter than a ventless all-in-one: small loads can finish in under an hour, regular loads in less than two hours, and heavy loads in under three. That speed is the main advantage of the vented design.
2 year warranty for Bebroke? my $2 screw driver comes with better warranty
The "2 Year warranty" is incorrect. From the actual warranty doc:
One (1) year Parts and labor
Three (3) years Stainless tub part (Part Only)
Ten (10) years; Washing DIT (Digital Inverter Motor) motor part (Part Only)
which one do people recommend, the samsung ge or lg all in one. i've been looking at the ge all in one but the samsung seems to be the best rated. has samsung fixed all of their issues

just did further research, this is the vented version. if you're getting an AIO, why get a vented version. 2. costco has the ventless version for $1955 and none of the haul away fees or hookup fees. even if you don't have a costco membership, it's much cheaper to buy a membership and get the sale price. 3. Costco will probably have an even better sale come the 30th or around black friday. so no this is not a good deal. also ben's appliance guy on youtube ranks this as the best AIO.
I had a GE ventless version for a few years. I replaced it with this Samsung vented version about a year ago. Very happy with the switch.
If you are installing this in a spot where there is a traditional wd and you have a vent, I'd strongly encourage you to consider this one. Loads in the GE, regardless of the size, took close to three hours, this one can get a small load done in under an hour, regular load in less than two, heavy loads in less than three.
I think my biggest complaint about this unit is that the vent is built in at the top of the unit and it sticks way too far out for my liking.
If I had dual 240v circuits in my laundry room I would buy another one.

The 2 years is correct. You get 2 years from Lowes protection plan for free as part of the promotion. And 2 years from Samsung when you register the device at Samsung.com

I almost went ventless but saw that the ventless takes longer to dry and the lint will stick to the coils. I also didn't have plans to install it in an exotic area like some people do, so my laundry room actually has a vent. The only reason I could see someone going this route is if they have an EV that they charge with the conventional dryer outlet, otherwise the vented dries faster.

I also have the option to do vented but am going to ventless. you just have to clean the lint filter after every cycle, which is not a big deal to me. removing the dryer will allow me to put in a utility sink or even buy a second one of these for the big family. i've been keeping up with sales and it seems like costco will have a better deal come mid november.

There is no free 2-years Lowe's Protection Plan for this. The extra warranties they offer through Lowe's (2, 3, and a 5-year protection plan) all cost extra, and show as such when adding to the cart.
The warranty coverage I quoted were from the actual Samsung Warranty packet.

Utility sink? How tall is that sink? This thing sits higher than a bathroom sink as it stands. And yes, cleaning out the filter is mandatory on every wash, but it still gets clogged, at least based on the YouTube videos that I've seen. But if the ventless makes more sense to you, by all means. I almost did it because I don't need to get my clothes out faster if I set it to be done by a certain time.

Best buy had this for $1949, free install and haul for labor day. Hopefully better deals are coming. Its been cheaper back in 2025.

Not gonna buy any more Samsung appliances. My barely 3.5 years old smart washer is on the fritz making a horrendous grinding noise. No error codes or indications other than the horrible noise in the wash cycle. Samsung tech diagnosed it to be the clutch assembly. Out of warranty, so I'm SOL. Costs for replacement is about the same as a new washer. Previous GE washer lasted 15 years. I would avoid Samsung appliances totally. Only their phones and TVs are worth buying.

The vented design can finish small loads in under an hour and heavy loads in under three hours.
The vented option can dry faster than ventless when the laundry room already has an existing vent.
The warranty coverage can include one year of parts and labor plus longer stainless tub and motor part coverage.
The promotion can add two years of coverage through Lowe's protection plan plus two years from Samsung after registration.
The ventless approach can require cleaning the lint filter after every cycle and it may still clog.
The advertised "2 year warranty" can be misleading because the actual Samsung warranty packet specifies different durations and part-only terms.
The top-mounted vent can stick out too far for some laundry room layouts.
A Samsung smart washer experience can involve a grinding noise after about 3.5 years with out-of-warranty repair costs near a new washer price.
