SSD is upgradable (it's in the NVMe M.2 slot so drop anything you like in). Linux on ARM processors like the Snapdragon X is still iffy looks like.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

when buying these arm based Snapdragon SOC's, pay attention to the 2 numbers in the middle X1-26-100. in this case 26 (equal 1.7 TFLOPS). This is the lowest version they offer for its integrated graphics. Try to go for higher integrated graphics ie. X1P-46-100 (2.1TF)

Higher Graphic Variation Models & GPU Tiers
1. Snapdragon X Plus (8-Core & 10-Core Variants with Higher GPU Clocks)
  • Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 (8 cores)
    • GPU: Adreno X1-45 (1.7 TFLOPS) [1]
  • Snapdragon X Plus X1P-46-100 (8 cores)
    • GPU: Adreno X1-45 upgraded/clocked higher (~2.1 TFLOPS) [1, 2]
  • Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 (10 cores)
    • GPU: Adreno X1-85 (3.8 TFLOPS) [1, 2]
  • Snapdragon X Plus X1P-66-100 (10 cores)
    • GPU: Adreno X1-85 (3.8 TFLOPS with higher boost frequencies) [1]
2. Snapdragon X Elite (12-Core Variants with High-Performance Adreno X1-85 GPUs)
  • Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 (12 cores)
    • GPU: Adreno X1-85 (3.8 TFLOPS) [1]
  • Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 (12 cores)
    • GPU: Adreno X1-85 (3.8 TFLOPS with dual-core boost up to 4.0 GHz) [1, 2]
  • Snapdragon X Elite X1E-84-100 (12 cores)
    • GPU: Adreno X1-85 peak performance (4.6 TFLOPS at 1,500 MHz boost) [1, 2]
  • Snapdragon X Elite X1E-00-1DE (12 cores — special/developer variant)
    • GPU: Adreno X1-85 peak performance (4.6 TFLOPS) [1]

The memory is soldered, no space to add a stick, but you can upgrade the ssd.

If you're used to a MacBook or surface, the build quality on this sucks! The keyboard , trackpad everything..
Trust me, it's not even close.

Decent deal if it has a good battery life, but my guess as with any HP laptop it won't give you more than 2-3 hours on full charge.
Plus 300 nits and shitty resolution and weak CPU

Returning. Not because anything wrong instead going for HP Elitebook 845 G10 with 16GB ram and 512gb SSD.
Primarily because construction is more robust - aluminum chassis. It's business grade.
These are consumer grade and entry level.
