Just be careful with their digital gift card. If your order costs more than the available balance of the gift card, you can not use the gift card. So if your order is $11 and you only have $9 left on the gift card, you can not use the gift card. Instead, you will have to use cash or credit card for the entire $11.

Community Reviews

Pizza Hut is offering a large three topping pizza deal that can unlock a follow up medium pizza BOGO next week, with the strongest draw being the extra Hut Rewards perk and occasional bonus points for scheduled orders. The fine print is messy, but the BOGO appears tied to a qualifying online purchase and Hut Rewards enrollment, and the reward coupon may take 24 to 48 hours to arrive. The medium BOGO is widely seen as weaker than it sounds because it still requires paying for a medium to get another free. Local pricing and availability also vary by ZIP, with California showing higher prices.

  • Families ordering carry-out who want a cheap large pizza now, because the large three-topping price is low enough to feed a group.

    IsitbudgetfriendlyDharmaBummed69

  • Rewards members who already plan to place an online order, because the purchase can unlock a medium BOGO coupon for the following week.

    sbimossbimos

  • App users who like stacking a small order with a later pizza reward, because a qualifying purchase can trigger the BOGO coupon and the reward may arrive within hours.

    Isitbudgetfriendlysbimos

  • Shoppers in areas where the listed price is still around eleven dollars, because the deal can be cheaper than local medium pricing.

    Isitbudgetfriendlytheonlychicken

  • People expecting a truly free pizza next week, because the follow-up reward is a BOGO medium coupon that still requires buying a medium.

    LeviathanUltimaSlySol

  • Delivery-only diners, because the qualifying order is tied to online ordering and pickup is the easier path for combining payment methods.

    sbimossbimos

  • Shoppers who want reliable value across locations, because the price and eligibility can vary by ZIP and the listed deal may show higher in some regions.

    sbimossbimos

  • Pizza fans who care about topping load, because the large can come with very little topping coverage.

My email said "Online Order" required. But if you choose "pickup", you can select "Pay In Store", where you can combine gift card and other methods in-person.
.
Sorry, delivery-needing people.

$11.99 here. There's also a standing deal for 2 large Specialty or 5 topping pizzas for $25. It was $22 but went up recently.
The $25 deal is only Tuesdays AFAIK.

NO! Don't do it, man! I know this deal turned out to be a bust, but another one will come along soon. Don't give up. There's always hope for a slicker deal tomorrow. Big Grin

It's worded weirdly. My initial impression was that you buy one at $10.99 and then get a free medium one next week … but it could just be that it allows you to do a BOGO next week, requiring another purchase. Requiring an initial purchase to then unlock a BOGO which requires yet another purchase would be a pretty unusual way to do it, but we'll probably need to see when the fine print comes out, which should be on their website 10/26.
I read it as make a purchase this week, unlock a bogo medium offer next week, which is a much much worse deal than they've offered in the past. Par for the course considering Pizza Hut is under new management...

Yeah, that's the correct interpretation, but it was worded somewhat vaguely and left some uncertainty, especially the way it was worded on another site where I saw a slightly different variation of it. I think that partly why it was so confusing is that it's almost impossible to believe that they'd even really consider such a thing a deal … requiring a purchase just to "unlock" the BOGO deal, (which is an extremely mediocre deal even without an extra requirement) is somewhat baffling. I don't think I've seen that one before.

New app version since this morning. Zero changes in regards to deal, lol.
.
Honestly, its so poorly worded, I wanted to throw $1 at it and see if that triggered the coupon, but I don't want to waste gas picking up my pointless order, and the BOGO coupon is worthless in my opinion.

Yep, exactly… I probably wouldn't even bite on the BOGO medium deal if it was an open deal for everyone. A large carry-out deal at most places is usually just as good of a value, if not better than BOGO mediums at regular menu price.

As far as the requirement to unlock the deal, I'm pretty sure it was linked to the purchase of the $10.99 pizza deal rather than "any purchase" … all the posts about it seemed to be related to that original $10.99 deal.

I didn't see the promotion message in my Pizza Hut account.

Plenty of PH graphics and posts from non-PH sites... but I've seen NOTHING from PH themselves about the $10.99. Not on website, not on app, not in the near-daily emails from them, not in the near-daily push alerts. I'd say somebody made it up and everybody copied it, but the B2G1 part is real, and it's so poorly and incompletely explained... Maybe they yanked the $10.99 part from the deal, which is why it reads so poorly and won't say what the requirement is.

Update app, make sure signed in, should be red dot on profile tiny person the first time, tap, then tap "exclusives" (maybe also red dot first time). BOGO deal should be there but lacking full info. Six roommates here. We all got email, we all got the same exclusive BOGO.

I used my T Mobile offer yesterday on the Personal Pan Pizza with purchase of a drink and I was able to unlock the BOGO medium pizza for next week. Lol!

I totally forgot that any purchase triggers that.

I already received a fully loaded meat pizza and 20 oz drink for the price of a 20 oz drink and now I get a BOGO? Just makes the deal sweeter!

This seems like a convoluted deal and overly complicated for a simple thing like pizza.
