I'm sure it'll be the full size Mexican pizza … they never changed the wording on the deal, although I'm sure it was a bit of a disappointment on the last one for anyone who didn't notice the "slider" part. I actually still bought one figuring it would be small … and it was, but I won't complain for $4. At least mine had a couple of nice big chunks of chicken and it was still hot and fresh, which can be kind of a gamble sometimes.

It limits you to one per transaction, but you can place multiple orders back to back. And someone in the last thread said that you could just skip the app and order the $4 version at the drive-thru …


I'm hoping to catch it on the $1 drop, but they really screwed things up with that lately. The $1 drops were always hard to get and you had to be quick about it, but at least it worked predictably. But they screwed around with the way it works and now it's just all messed up. Last week, I spent several minutes refreshing, closing/reopening, etc and the option to try for it never even showed up. Others reported the same thing and some said that they eventually saw it go live at like 2:06. It just kind of left everyone hanging with no idea what was going on in the meantime.

Taco Hell almost fooled me on the current Paris Hilton drop. Saw crunchwrap mentioned but it's a SLIDER. Thus it's a smaller different crunchwrap compared to the normal crunchwrap. Will have to wait and see if this mexican pizza deal includes a full size mexican pizza or some variant which is smaller.

I've occasionally had some weird issues on the final step of trying to pay in the past, but it seemed to clear up when I tried a different payment method and then work fine the next time. It sounds like they should ring up at the discounted price at the drive thru though if you can't get an order to go through on the app.

I was wondering if they were doing something like this when they had the burrito supreme combo (even though they didn't use any additional terminology to designate its size), or if this was the worst case of shrinkflation I've yet seen… that thing was, at most, half of what it used to be (as recently as last year) – probably less; $4 was egregiously overpriced – let alone the $6.49 they list as the "normal" price.
