Monster? Lol. I use it for small jobs when I don't want the noise and stink of my backpack blower. If you don't need it then that's great because you can save money but there's nothing particularly monster about this unless compared to electrics.

Same. I chatted with an agent and they couldn't figure out why either. They told me just to reorder it. I did. Cancelled again.

So then I thought it was the price match. So I tried ordering it at full price off the website. About two hours later they cancelled it again.

I guess Lowe's doesn't want my business.

oh damn. Wow...even at full price they cancelled the order. I couldn't figure out a reason either. Lowe's close to me has 10 units in stock, so no reason for them to cancel it but they keep cancelling. I ended up ordering on amazon as deal is still good at that price regardless of additional 10% cash back.

Those cells give tools using it some advantages( stronger output, cooler, more efficient etc). However my opinion on this is due to Ego run on a 56V and are already designed with a bulky and capable batteries, its hard to tell people to spend money upgrading their current "working-fine" ones. I also cant imagine any of my Ego tools to be more powerful to tackle most tasks, but always feel like I have to dial down or wish they have option to output less power for more delicate job.

I bought this blower to replace my Husqvarna electric that's probably 8 years old. I liked that it had a more variable trigger. I like to use it to blow out the garage without creating a bunch of dust. This at the lowest setting is too strong. Had to throttle on/off the get output I wanted. Loved it to clear off some leaves. It's a beast, great replacement

That decision is definitely up to the consumer, but like Milwaukee's introduction of tabless batteries, the old battery tech will go on sale.
