The Fairlife shakes at Costco for like 40 cents more a bottle, but they have more protein, less fat and less carbs. If you want specific flavors (or just to try them) or don't have a Costco membership that's good, but I'd stick with the Costco ones at that point. They're the best ones I've had out there hands down.

Unless someone knows more about these than I do. I just know what's on the label.

Core Power chocolate shakes are praised for rich flavor and a milkshake like taste, with the chocolate version coming closest to chocolate milk and working well even in a mocha with a frother. The protein profile is also a draw, especially versus some other shakes, and the 12 pack is seen as a strong value when the coupon applies. The main knocks are a sweetener aftertaste, since the formula includes stevia and sucralose, and the checkout discount can be finicky or vary by account. A solid pick if flavor matters most and the coupon lands correctly.

  • The checkout page includes a 40% off checkbox that applies the discount once selected.

    SaveAndThrive

  • The chocolate flavor is described as tasting close to chocolate milk with only a slight sweetener aftertaste.

    rsp1990

  • The shakes are described as having an absolutely amazing flavor across flavors, including chocolate and vanilla.

    candicepie

  • The shakes can be used instead of milk to make a mocha with a frother.

    Gurney

  • The coupon discount may not apply the same way for every account, which can prevent reaching the advertised deal price.

    imgamekc

  • The final checkout price can come out to $19.99 instead of the $25.13 shown in the deal post.

    Queenchateau

  • The flavor can include a strange or off aftertaste, especially for some people.

    TACO_Trader

  • The ingredient mix includes both stevia and sucralose, and the sweetness level may be unexpectedly intense.

How does the Costco version's flavor compare to the regular version?

I've only seen the Chocolate there (and had the Vanilla randomly) and they're the best tasting shakes I've had at that level of protein isolation. Personally I think they taste great as does my picky wife. But I haven't had the "regular" ones from this brand.

I have tried it (white bottles) and it doesn't taste as good as this one. This is by far the best I have found that almost tastes like chocolate milk (with little bit of aftertaste of sweetener probably). Costco used to carry this exact one and I used to buy in bulk. But they discounted and brought 42g one. And it costs almost $47 which is ridiculous price.
