There's 3ish. Pa6, pa66 and pa12.Pa12 is magic and does not absorb water but it costs an absolute fortune.Pa6 is cheapest and easiest to print but not as good overall compared to pa66.

Doesn't matter at the moment, the only nylon they have in stock for the US is pa6-cf. Can get it for about $11/kg if you order a single roll (ends up $0 + $10 shipping + tax). Two rolls will be about $15/kg.

PA6-CF (Nylon with carbon fiber) is good for strong, stiff (like the other -GF an -CF filaments), and heat-resistant parts. PC (polycarbonate) and PC-ABS are good choices for tough parts that need to handle heat and impacts. ABS-FR is flame-retardant and useful for electronics enclosures. PP (polypropylene) has good chemical resistance, and flexibility, but it can be tricky to get it to stick to the print bed.
