This is a Home Depot Hack. So the standard best method for doing this without as much return abuse is:
Get the app, order the ITEM YOU WANT to a location near you, and the ITEM YOU DO NOT WANT to a second location. Pick up the item you want, then just cancel the pickup for the other item, or let it expire or whatever. No returns needed.
