Has anyone used these? Do they ruin your window? I have mine mounted on window without and get decent picture but for $5 may be worth getting?

I have two of these I got on a sale. Only ever used one. And since it's been attached to a shed window and never removed, I can't tell you if it leaves residue. But I can't imagine it's anything that doesn't clean up.

It works really well, very clear image with no reflections. Just know that you're limited to pretty much just straight out the window. You can move it maybe 5 degrees in any direction before it becomes to loose to hold on. But if straight out is what you're planning on doing, this does the trick. My cam has a fairly long wire drooping from it and the mount still holds it tight enough to keep it from falling off.
